Adventure Camp
Adventure Camp will be a little different this year compared to the past! For the 2011 year, Utah 4-H will hold Adventure Camp at Flaming Gorge. Youth that have just completed 7th and 8th grade are invited to come enjoy some primitive camping and physical challenges at the Green's Lake campground. This will be a three-day, two-night experience teaching life skills, friendship, leadership, teamwork, and more!
Activities will include white water rafting down Green River, spelunking (cave exploring), touring Flaming Gorge Dam, as well as communications/GPS, and other fun hands-on activites. Many lasting friendships are sure to be made at Adventure Camp, and these are the friendships that go with you through your. This will take place in two sessions: June 13-15 and June 15-17, 2011.
Application deadline is May 16, 2011. The cost will be $150 dollars. Register today, space is limited!
