In-Touch Science: Plants and Engineering

The 10 activities in this 116-page manual show children how each of five science concepts relates to plant science and engineering. Session 1 examines protective materials and strategies. Children learn how plants protect themselves from drought, fire and insects. They explore engineering ideas as they construct containers to protect fragile or valuable items.
